Hiya,
My name is Zoann and it is my dream to write and direct movies that can help move people forwards.
I like to create intimate and visually poetic stories about emotions that we forget or bury away due to time passing. Sometimes life moves too fast for our hearts to catch up. My work has a lot of nature in it and I draw on fairytale-like/dream-like tones because I think these themes are what reminds us of our childhood wonder, which is the link to the softness we’re all trying to rediscover.
These are my favourite movies: Pieces of April, Mind Game (2004), Yi Yi , I Am Love and After Life (1998).
